ResponsibilitiesSupport the design and development of custom automation equipment and one-off machines.Collaborate with senior engineers to implement mechanical solutions for manufacturing processes.Assist in progressing projects with minimal supervision.Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and integration efforts.Essential SkillsMechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing or automation environment.Proficiency in SolidWorks, transitioning to Siemens NX.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsBackground in machine design, equipment design, or automation systems.Familiarity with motion systems, multi-axis mechanisms, and control systems.Experience designing custom machinery for internal use or external clients.Exposure to 3D printing systems, robotics, or pick-and-place automation.Ability to think critically about cost, speed, accuracy, and motion path in design decisions.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
