Job Description
We are seeking a skilled RF Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team specializing in designing complex RF static structures. This role involves taking concepts to hardware builds and supporting the Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR) and Testing Readiness Review (TRR). You will also play a crucial role in mentoring jr engineers and designing hardware for harsh environments, requiring a general understanding of RF principles.
ResponsibilitiesDesign complex RF static structures from concept to hardware build.Support Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR) and Testing Readiness Review (TRR).engineers to foster growth and development.Design hardware suitable for harsh environments.Apply a general understanding of RF principles in design processes.Essential Skills5-7 years of experience in mechanical engineering.Proficiency in SolidWorks.Experience in space flight hardware design.Knowledge of GD&T and AS9100 standards.Understanding of electronic packaging, RF, EMI, stress engineering, and thermal engineering.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with space flight hardware is advantageous.Work Environment
The role is based in a manufacturing environment within the RF Center of Excellence located in Longmont, CO. The team enjoys a warm camaraderie and is known for balancing hard work with fun. The 'fun committee' organizes activities to promote bonding and team spirit. The direct team consists of one staff engineer and two junior engineers. The site includes advanced facilities, such as an anechoic chamber, dedicated to aerospace and defense applications.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
