The Opportunity
We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our expert team. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing heating and air-conditioning systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities
+ Perform planned and reactive maintenance on heating (steam) and air-conditioning systems.
+ Maintain evaporative cooling and domestic water systems in line with L8 standards.
+ Diagnose and repair plant faults to ensure continuous operation.
+ Conduct filter and belt changes, pipe repairs, and system upgrades.
+ Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
+ Collaborate with CBRE and client teams to deliver exceptional service.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Training
+ Level 3 qualification in mechanical services maintenance.
+ Basic computer skills and understanding of building management systems (preferred).
+ Health and safety training (desirable).
Experience
+ Hands-on experience with pumps, motors, valves, and cooling towers.
+ Familiarity with health and safety standards in maintenance environments.
+ Experience on client-resident sites and with evaporative cooling systems (desirable).
Skills & Attributes
+ Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
+ Calm under pressure and confident in decision-making.
+ Physically fit and comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces.
+ A team player with a commitment to excellent customer service.
+ Full UK driving licence required.
