Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic and small mechanical engineering team located in Niceville. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in rapid prototyping, Department of Defense (DoD) experience, and design for manufacturing. The engineer will be responsible for developing models from concept designs and designing mounts and enclosures for electronics, while considering factors such as g-shock and vibration.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop models from concept designs.Design mounts and enclosures for electronics considering g-shock and vibration.Create 3D parts for proof of concept.Machine parts for final application.Consider varying tolerances depending on application.Essential SkillsExperience in mechanical engineering and design.Proficiency in Creo and SolidWorks for 3D modeling.Knowledge of airframe design and missile design.Understanding of design for manufacturability.Background in Department of Defense (DoD) projects.Additional Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.Experience overseeing a mechanical design team.R&D and prototyping experience.Ability to work with machined parts and 3D printers.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
