Summary You will serve as a MECHANICAL ENGINEER in the AUSTRALIA MAINTENANCE SUPPORT - 200AU of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. The location for this position is Garden Island, Australia. You will conduct independent and collaborative engineering studies, investigations, and analysis using industry or new engineering principles You will serve as technical advisor and ship platform subject matter expert. You will advise in the identification and resolution of problems encountered during installation, grooming, or testing phases You will provide worldwide Fleet Technical Support (FTS) for our surface/submarine fleet in the form of inspections/assessments, analysis, repair recommendations and technical adjudication You will support the Command in the event of a major Incident on an assigned ship and help coordinate the necessary PHNSY and IMF AUKUS technical response.
