The Role:

Work closely with supply chain and hardware/software engineering teams to ensure a coherent design and timely release. Coordinate CAE, design, prototyping, testing of components, and documentation of these activities. Troubleshoot issues in manufacturing plants, assembly plants, and field operations. Lead failure analyses and experiments to propose design revisions and solutions. Design and develop high voltage and high power electrical unit packaging, low voltage vehicle control boxes, and functional/performance specifications following best practices, e.g., OBC, DCDC, GWSW, fuse boxes, ECU, etc.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience. Familiarity with PCBA, casting, sheet metal, and injection molding part design. Strong understanding of design for manufacturing principles. Experience with DFMEA, DOE, Six Sigma, tolerance analysis, or other structured problem-solving methodologies. Proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably CATIA V6/3DX. Able to work independently in English, both written and spoken. Native level proficiency in Mandarin.

Preferred:

Excellent technical problem-solving skills with a solid grasp of engineering fundamentals. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
