Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineer to design and implement sophisticated heating, ventilation, cooling, and plumbing systems. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with construction documents and safety standards.
ResponsibilitiesDesign heating-ventilation-cooling systems and plumbing systems.Conduct load calculations, life cycle costing, and energy modeling.Coordinate with other disciplines and work effectively within a team environment.Review installation of designed equipment/systems for compliance with construction documents.Perform duties across multiple projects within established schedules.Engage in a wide variety of projects varying in type, scale, and complexity.Work on concurrent projects.Prepare construction cost estimates, both in broad and detailed scopes.Assist in developing contract specifications and researching new procedures and products.Perform all work safely and responsibly, adhering to the Health and Safety Plan.Act as a positive representative of the company and uphold its core values.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsProficiency in Revit for HVAC and MEP design.At least 4 years of mechanical design experience.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Ability to cultivate client relationships.Capability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsMay have experience as a designer.Strong work ethic and solid organizational skills.Work Environment
The work environment is dynamic and team-oriented, requiring collaboration with various disciplines. Engineers will work on multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing advanced technologies such as Revit for design tasks. Safety is a priority, and all work must adhere to the Health and Safety Plan.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr.
