Job Description
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the development of heating, ventilation, cooling, and plumbing systems. You will engage in load calculations, life cycle costing, and energy modeling while collaborating with various disciplines within a team-oriented environment.
ResponsibilitiesDesign heating-ventilation-cooling systems and plumbing systems.Conduct load calculations, life cycle costing, and energy modeling.Coordinate with other disciplines and work effectively in a team environment.Review installation of designed equipment/systems for compliance with construction documents.Manage duties across multiple projects within established schedules.Work on a wide variety of project types, scales, and complexity concurrently.Prepare construction cost estimates, both in a broad and detailed scope.Assist in the development of contract specifications and research new procedures and products.Perform all work safely and responsibly, following the Health and Safety Plan.Act as a positive representative of the company and uphold its core values.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsBachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering Proficiency in Revit and HVAC design.Knowledge of MEP design.A minimum of 1 year of mechanical design experience.Strong teamwork, communication, and client relationship skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.Strong work ethic and solid organizational skills.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
