Job Description
We are seeking a degreed Mechanical Engineer with a strong foundation in mechanical building design and an interest or experience in project management. This role involves managing projects from start to finish for various facilities such as schools, detention centers, and libraries, leading a team of 2-3 individuals. Key tasks include attending meetings, preparing construction documents, responding to RFIs, and ensuring projects are completed on time and under budget.
ResponsibilitiesManage projects for educational and public facilities from inception to completion.Lead a team of 2-3 individuals in executing project tasks.Attend meetings to discuss project progress and requirements.Prepare detailed construction documents.Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) promptly.Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.5-8 years of experience in mechanical building design.Proficiency in project management.Experience with AutoCAD.US citizenship due to contractual requirements.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Revit is advantageous.Work Environment
This position is based in Towson, MD and requires working in the office five days a week. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48.49 - $60.87/hr.
