Responsibilities + Design and develop mechanical systems with a focus on HVAC and plumbing engineering. + Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. + Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM for 3D modeling and schematic design. + Ensure compliance with industry standards including ASHRAE 90.1, 62.1, 55, NEC, NESC, IBC, and sustainable design practices. + Contribute to design-build projects and alternative delivery practices. + Participate in site visits to assess project progress and adherence to design specifications. Essential Skills + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on HVAC and Plumbing Engineering. + P.E. license required. + 10+ years of HVAC/Plumbing design experience within a consulting firm. + Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM. + Experience with ASHRAE standards and California Title 24 Energy Code. + Knowledge of sustainable design and design-build practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications + LEED AP preferred. + Experience with Government/DOD projects preferred. Work Environment Office setting with occasional site visits for project progress. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
