What You will Do:

Manage and complete mechanical engineering scope for material handling systemsPerform site audits to collect project and solution informationComplete the design of semi-complex systems that integrate mechanical hardware, controls components, and softwareProvide support for specification and preparation of engineering sketches, manufacture equipment, and layout drawings, with appropriate follow-upFollow Purchase Request and Order Entry processes to purchase equipment and release assemblies for manufacturingSupport on-site installation and engineering commissioning efforts as the need arisesWork with team members and customers to tackle problems and troubleshoot equipment on-siteRegularly report on project performance including but not limited to: timely delivery, budget, quality, risksParticipate in recommending ideas related to efficiency improvement, cost reduction, and improvement in customer happiness

Work Experience
BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering or related field of engineering, or equivalent experience3-5 years Material Handling experience and prior working experience with Amazon warehouseExperience with Dematic RCD and CET Designer Software (Maestro) recommendedProficient in CAD design software; AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX, or similarExperience with MS programs, Word, Excel, TEAMSStrong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environmentDedicated to achieving excellenceOrganization, analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skillsMaintaining accurate and detailed recordsGrasping and adhering to instructionsWorking under pressure, meeting inflexible deadlines, and maintaining composureCapable of providing technical assistance to support staff and other employeesThis role includes up to 25% travel to customer locations
