Job Summary

Functions in an engineer capacity. Under close supervision, performs routine aspects of engineering assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles. Applies knowledge of engineering principles to prescribed techniques and procedures to complete project assignments.

Key Responsibilities Engineering role in business development, project development and project execution Performs project execution work to ensure that the engineering, procurement, and construction works are in accordance with the project requirement including requirement of quality, schedule, and budget Prepares and verifies less complex engineering deliverables such as drawings, reports, specifications, and studies of limited scope. Performs research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection  Prepares engineering calculations following standard methods and principles  Prepares flow diagrams and piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs) Prepares mechanical equipment list, pipeline list, valve list, and miscellaneous device list Prepares work packages to external engineering service providers and controlling of the work results, defines scope and prepares specification, bid evaluation, awards the packages, reviews external drawings and documents, attends inspection activities, prepares and review factory and acceptance test reports, support construction work Coordinates with team and provide supports on relevant issues to complete project effectively.    Continues to learn and remains current on departmental design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes and Black and Veatch policies and procedures and applies to assigned tasks as appropriate   Continues developing knowledge and complies with Black and Veatch quality program relative to assigned tasks   Supports continuous improvement and change management efforts   Apply engineering techniques and analyses for problems and methods Provide support to business development or pursuit activities #LI-RK1 Preferred Qualifications Learning on the Fly Problem Solving Intellectual Horsepower Written Communications Drive For Results Informing Listening Dealing with Ambiguity Basic knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to assigned engineering discipline Basic industry knowledge and technology trends Basic knowledge of company quality program Basic knowledge of construction and constructability practices and principles  Minimum Qualifications

No experience required. Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
