Responsibilities
Receive redlines from engineers and input them into AutoCAD.Prepare AutoCAD and REVIT drawings from markups, sketches, and verbal directions.Accurately draft markups into AutoCAD and REVIT.Perform operations within the CAD and REVIT software for plumbing and fire protection projects.Attend jobsite meetings and oversee scope of work.Manage scheduling, RFIs, submittals, and take-offs.Involved in budgeting to ensure projects are under budget and ahead of schedule.Oversee HVAC, plumbing, and piping installation in commercial buildings.Essential Skills
5+ years of design experience with MEP projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT.Excellent AutoCAD skills including model/paper space, layer management, and dynamic block creation.Proficiency with Revit including electrical systems, family creation, and modification.Strong understanding of X-Refs and layer management.Excellent communication and team-building skills.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).Additional Skills & Qualifications
CAD or REVIT Certificate is a plus.Experience with projects in commercial, hospitals, schools, and retail sectors.Experience with electrical trade.PMP Certification is advantageous.Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Monroe, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
