The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SolidWorks CAD software, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering accurate and innovative drawings that meet Aerospace/Defense and company standards. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and models using SolidWorks CAD software. * Apply ANSI Y14.5-2018 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards to ensure precision and manufacturability. * Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve design issues. * Prepare technical documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs) and manufacturing drawings. * Generate and release program work authorization documentation defining the scope of work, schedule requirements, program budget, contractual requirements, and data items. * Perform design reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards. * Support prototyping of mechanical components. * Maintain accurate records of revisions. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * US Citizen * 1-3+ years of experience in mechanical design and drafting. * Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software. * Strong knowledge of ANSI Y14.5-2018 GD&T standards. * Experience with creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models for manufacturing. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * ​Certification in GD&T (ASME Y14.5) or related credentials. * Experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial product design. * Knowledge of manufacturing processes, such as CNC machining, injection molding, or additive manufacturing.
