Join a leading company in the material handling industry, recognized for its innovative designs and reliable products. We are seeking two Mechanical Designers for a 4-month contract role. This position will primarily focus on 3D CAD design and drafting, ERP system management, and providing day-to-day project execution support.
ResponsibilitiesTranslate customer data into accurate, functional, manufacturable, and timely designs using 3D CAD software.Create designs, BOMs, assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings.Input and manage data within the internal ERP system.Attend meetings, collaborate with team members, and provide support for shipping and sales.Interpret blueprints, data, and sketches to deliver precise fabrication instructions.
Essential SkillsProficiency in Mechanical Design.Experience with SolidWorks and SolidEdge.Ability to create fabrication drawings and work with sheet metal.Experience in creating BOMs and assembly drawings.1+ years of experience using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.1+ years of experience in mechanical design of equipment or sheet metal products.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the material handling industry is a plus.Knowledge of GD&T is advantageous.Experience utilizing an ERP system is beneficial.
Work Environment
This role is based at our facility in Cleves, OH, working 40 hours per week on-site. We offer flexible start and end times to accommodate work-life balance.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $40.00/hr.
