Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Designer or Engineer with a specialization in HVAC design to join our dynamic engineering team. This role primarily involves working in-office and offers flexible working hours with the possibility of remote work for specific circumstances. The Engineering and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) teams focus on producing plumbing and mechanical construction documents, fabrication drawings, coordinated 3D models, and sleeve layout drawings. The Engineering Department also provides expertise in project scope development, equipment selection, pricing, and field/service technical support. This position offers growth and leadership opportunities as the company expands.
ResponsibilitiesProduce plumbing and mechanical construction documents.Create fabrication drawings, coordinated 3D models, and sleeve layout drawings.Assist with project scope development, equipment selection, and pricing.Provide technical support in the field and service areas.Coordinate with external clients, including owners, architects, and trade contractors.Collaborate with internal clients, such as project managers, field superintendents, foremen, VDC department, estimators, and purchasing managers.Essential SkillsMechanical engineering expertise.Experience in HVAC systems.Knowledge of Revit software.Minimum 2 years of MEP-specific mechanical design knowledge.Additional Skills & QualificationsDesign-build knowledge.Ability to coordinate with various external and internal clients.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
