Job Title: Mechanical Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing using Solidworks and AutoCAD, contributing to innovative engineering solutions.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop mechanical components using Solidworks and AutoCAD.Collaborate with a team of engineers and sales professionals to support project goals.Estimate and quote engineering projects, providing technical insights and expertise.Understand and apply customer manufacturing and production processes in design solutions.Essential Skills1 year of engineering or technical background with a comprehension of customer manufacturing and production processes.Proven work history of 3+ years at a company.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of the motion industry and/or experience in manufacturing sales is a plus.Possession of a technical degree is preferred.Work Environment

The work environment consists of a collaborative team of technical engineers and an inside sales group. The team includes seven designers/engineers working closely to complete projects. The role operates under the direction of the VP and is ideal for someone considering a long-term move to the Rhinelander community. The position requires a technical design engineering background to bridge the gap between the engineering and sales teams.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
