Mechanical Design Engineer

You will be responsible for the mechanical design activities of all auxiliary systems and equipment required for Turbomachinery. Auxiliary systems include steel base frames, piping, structures and process equipment such as pumps, motors, heat exchangers, filters, separators, BoP skids. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will assure balance between design flexibility needs and strict product standardization adoption leading supply chain goals accomplishment, cost-out strategy implementation, site installation/service support.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer , you will be responsible for:

Leading structural design by hand calculation and Finite Element Analysis, where requiredCollaborating with system engineer to define and procure auxiliary equipment such as oil pumps, electric low voltage motors, filters, valves, piping and to design Lube oil Consoles and Seal Gas SystemsDefining plant layout of Steam Turbine and Electric Motor Compressors driven train auxiliary systems, including 3D modelingProviding wide expertise on steam turbine, electric motor driven trains and reciprocating compressor auxiliary systems for Gas Core businessContribute with technical expertise to new energy technology solutions development such as Hydrogen, CO2, CCUS and Energy storageSupporting Customers in deep technical review meeting demonstrating expertise and full ownership of mechanical disciplineAssuring quality awareness through lessons learned implementation, technical notes issuing and resolutions of top issuesCoordinating and supporting the outsource engineering resources, monitoring their quality, timing, and productivityCollaborating to create and update internal tools to leverage standardization and robust design

Have a Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Aerospace Engineering with good experience in Engineering/TechnologyDemonstrate basic knowledge of industrial manufacturing process and materialsBe a clear thinker: take decisions with speed and accuracy based on best available informationShow interpersonal skills and ability to interface effectively with different levels of the organization and external CustomersHave an entrepreneurial mindset that allows you to be self-directed, highly resilient, creative and solution orientedBe fluent in English
