Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer or Designer with 5-10 years of experience in Siemens NX and Teamcenter to provide onsite support at our customer's facility in Greenville, Texas. This role focuses on secondary aircraft structures and complex interior workstation integration, including coordination with electrical and mechanical system routing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop aircraft secondary structures and interior workstation installations using Siemens NX within the Teamcenter PLM environment.
Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of structural components, brackets, supports, and panel assemblies.
Interpret interface requirements and collaborate with electrical and mechanical systems teams to ensure routing paths and mounting provisions are accurately represented.
Support OML (Outer Mold Line) structure modifications when required.
Participate in integrated product team (IPT) meetings, design reviews, and configuration audits.
Resolve design issues in a fast-paced environment and provide timely solutions to meet aggressive program schedules.
Ensure compliance with internal design standards, customer requirements, and airworthiness regulations.
Required:
5-10 years of hands-on experience with Siemens NX CAD modeling and drafting.
Strong working knowledge of Teamcenter (TC) for data management and configuration control.
Proven experience with aircraft secondary structural design and interior systems integration.
Understanding of electromechanical systems routing and the ability to coordinate interfaces with electrical and mechanical disciplines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Able to work independently onsite with minimal supervision.
Preferred:
Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred but not required.
Previous experience supporting aircraft modification or special mission platforms.
Familiarity with manufacturing practices, installation requirements, and liaison support.
Working knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5.
Experience in a customer-facing role supporting military or aerospace clients.
Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $100,000 to $130,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.'
