Job Description The Mechanical Designer position involves modeling and drawing generation of a diverse range of mechanical hardware and components intended for elevator systems. The candidate will be part of the Design Services Group, situated in Florence, South Carolina, which serves as the hub for North American System Elevator Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain operations. Responsibilities + Provide design support to both internal and external customers. + Modify and develop new component solutions to enhance product robustness. + Support and resolve engineering issues. + Develop component and system level models and drawings. + Support cost reduction efforts. + Maintain product integrity and evaluate design opportunities. + Interface with the field support team while working to meet cost and schedule commitments. + Engage in sheet metal design, design for installation, implementation, and testing of elevator components. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $36.06/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
