Location: Onsite – Stony Point, NY Employment Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $85,000 – $110,000 ️ What You’ll Do As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll play a key role in bringing new products to life—from concept to production. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, model, and document innovative lighting solutions. Your Responsibilities: + Support New Product Development (NPD) throughout its lifecycle + Design and detail new products using 3D and 2D modeling tools + Create 3D models and assemblies with accompanying manufacturing, assembly, and installation documentation + Perform tolerance stack-up analysis + Ensure material selection and processes meet functional and performance requirements + Support design changes for existing products + Maintain parametric requirements and document design intent clearly on 2D drawings What You Bring + Essential Skills: + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) + 2–5 years of experience in 3D modeling and drafting (SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred) + Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and new product development + Experience with sheet metal design and mechanical engineering principles + Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) + Bonus Skills: + Experience with SolidWorks rendering + Working knowledge of Good Documentation Practices + Experience entering and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) Why Join Us? + Be part of a collaborative, tight-knit engineering team + Work on exciting, real-world products with visible impact + Enjoy great benefits and employee offerings + Grow your skills in a supportive and innovative environment Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
