🛠️ What You’ll Do

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll play a key role in bringing new products to life—from concept to production. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, model, and document innovative lighting solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

Support New Product Development (NPD) throughout its lifecycleDesign and detail new products using 3D and 2D modeling toolsCreate 3D models and assemblies with accompanying manufacturing, assembly, and installation documentationPerform tolerance stack-up analysisEnsure material selection and processes meet functional and performance requirementsSupport design changes for existing productsMaintain parametric requirements and document design intent clearly on 2D drawings

🧠 What You Bring

Essential Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)2–5 years of experience in 3D modeling and drafting (SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred)Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and new product developmentExperience with sheet metal design and mechanical engineering principlesFamiliarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)Bonus Skills:Experience with SolidWorks renderingWorking knowledge of Good Documentation PracticesExperience entering and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
