As part of our Industrial team, you will work on both Custom Product Opportunities and New Product Introductions. The Industrial department works with a broad spectrum of industries and segments such as automotive (including F1), metrological, hydrology and rail.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Mechanical design of pressure sensing components for the harsh environments
Supporting commercial and sales teams to deliver initial design reports and proposals
Providing face-to-face customer engagement to create custom solutions and resolve technical issues
Maintaining a high standard of documentation for evidence of conformity and technical explanation to ensure compliance
Adopting best-practice guidelines to influence and implement continuous improvements to processes
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have an accredited qualification in Mechanical Engineering fields or equivalent experience in a Mechanical or Design role
Have experience of design and testing
Have knowledge of Creo and/or Solidworks
Have experience in writing up relevant reports/proposals to enable delivery of programs
Demonstrate ability to work to deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication
Hold a British passport/work permit and not require future sponsorship
