We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer. This position will be based in Peachtree Corners GA.
Join our innovative R&D team as a Mechanical Design Engineer focused on the design and development of circuit breaker solutions. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to contribute to high-impact engineering projects, with a strong emphasis on 3D modeling, technical drafting, and concept development for prototyping. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams to bring mechanical designs from concept to production, ensuring alignment with performance, manufacturability, and cost targets.
You’ll make a difference by: Designing parts and assemblies using Pro/Engineering (Creo). Collaborating on prototyping parts and assemblies to ensure design approval and optimize manufacturing processes. Assisting in project management through the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process, from project inception to design, manufacturing, and obsolescence. Maintaining close coordination with PLM project leads to ensure accurate completion of engineering action items. Participating in component selection, including research into viable alternative components when needed. Compiling details and drawings for customer instruction manuals and manufacturing instructions. Working closely with Siemens manufacturing locations and provide a rapid response to technical questions. You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent STEM field 2+ years of experience (including internships) with the following: Electromechanical product design engineering Pro/Engineer CREO or similar Mechanical Design/ CAD program like SolidWorks Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:

The pay range for this position is $67,480 - - $115,680 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
