As a result, our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world. **Job Description** **Turner & Townsend** is seeking a Mechanical Cost Manager to provide cost management support on a large-scale technical construction program for a key technology client. This role is part of a major capital expansion of high-tech manufacturing facilities and offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value projects in a dynamic, client-facing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, with experience supporting cost management across all phases of mechanical design and construction. **Responsibilities:** + Provide cost estimating and cost planning services for mechanical systems, including conceptual, programming, and detailed estimates. + Develop and manage mechanical-specific cost plans and budgets. + Analyze and validate mechanical contractor and subcontractor pricing and change order proposals. + Support procurement activities including bid analysis and contract documentation for mechanical scopes. + Participate in value engineering exercises with a focus on mechanical systems. + Produce monthly cost reports and assist in presenting updates to the client. + Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure mechanical cost alignment with project goals. + Maintain communication with clients, contractors, and consultants throughout all project stages. + Support post-contract cost management including change control, cost checks, and valuations. + Identify opportunities to improve mechanical cost management tools, templates, and procedures. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in construction management, quantity surveying, mechanical engineering, or a related field. + Relevant experience in cost management with a strong focus on mechanical systems. + Experience supporting medium to large-scale construction projects, ideally in high-tech or advanced manufacturing environments. + RICS accreditation or working toward it is a plus. + Strong understanding of mechanical procurement, value engineering, and cost control processes. + Familiarity with mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, and process utilities. + Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a client-facing role. **Additional Information** **_*On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs*_** Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
