Job Title: Mechanical Assistant Project Manager
Job Description
As a Mechanical Assistant Project Manager, you will support the project manager to ensure that all projects meet their timelines and requirements. You will assist with various aspects such as billing, change orders, and collections to ensure timely completion. Additionally, you will provide monthly analysis on job cost, job status, manpower, and change order reports while coordinating manpower and equipment for each project. Your responsibilities will also include generating submittals, purchase orders, and negotiating subcontracts and purchases. Attending job site visits is also a crucial part of this role.
Responsibilities
+ Assist the project manager to ensure proper timelines and requirements are met for all projects.
+ Assist with billing, change orders, and collections to ensure timely completion.
+ Review job cost, job status, manpower, and change order reports to provide monthly analysis with the project management team.
+ Coordinate manpower and equipment for each project.
+ Generate submittals and purchase orders, and negotiate subcontracts and purchases.
+ Attend job site visits.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in construction, mechanical, and commercial construction.
+ Project coordination and estimation skills.
+ 2+ years of commercial mechanical/plumbing experience.
+ Experience in project management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
Work Environment
The work environment involves coordination with various teams and attending job site visits. The role requires a good understanding of construction practices and the ability to work collaboratively. It may involve working in an office setting and at construction sites, requiring appropriate attire for site visits.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
