Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for the mechanical installation of all machinery sold by the client. Installations may involve a single piece of equipment or a complete sorting system. These systems consist of conveyors, screens, balers, robots, and optical sorters. The candidate will receive hands-on experiential learning training, during which they will travel to sites and shadow veteran mechanics on installations, working alongside them. Maintaining contact with the customer regarding the installation is also part of the role.

ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical installation of machinery and complete sorting systems.Install conveyors, screens, balers, robots, and optical sorters.Receive hands-on training and shadow veteran mechanics during installations.Maintain communication with customers regarding installation progress.Work flexible hours starting from 5am-8am, typically for 10 to 12 hour days.Essential SkillsExperience in erecting, assembling, or installing heavy equipment or machinery.Ability to read blueprints.Strong work ethic and willingness to follow advice.Ability to work unsupervised.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Solid verbal communication skills in English.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with large machinery such as sorting machines, labelers, or conveyors is a plus.Knowledge of Spanish or other languages is an advantage.Willingness to work 60+ hour weeks when needed.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
