Mechanical Assembler
**Job Summary:** The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling a variety of industrial products and related mechanical equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a collaborative production team. The ideal candidate will follow detailed work instructions, use hand and power tools, and perform quality inspections to ensure each product meets company standards. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assemble mechanical components according to blueprints, schematics, or work instructions. + Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and torque wrenches to fasten parts and subassemblies. + Inspect parts for quality and fit; perform basic functional tests. + Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and lean manufacturing practices. + Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues. + Accurately record work completed in production systems and follow standard operating procedures. + Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent required. + 1–3 years of experience in mechanical assembly or a similar manufacturing role preferred. + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions. + Basic understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and measurement devices (e.g., calipers, micrometers). + Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. + Team-oriented with good communication and problem-solving skills. **Pay Details:** $20.00 to $24.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
