Mechanical Assembler

Our client, a leader in the medical equipment industry, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly of complex medical equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a mechanical and electromechanical background, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Location: Peabody, MA (will move to Salem, NH in a near future)

Schedule: 6:30am-4pm, Monday to Thursday, and every other Friday 6:30am-3pm (flexible: could start 30min earlier)

Pay Range: $20 - $23 (Based on skills and experience)

What's the Job?

Perform assembly and teardown of various top-level and sub-level assemblies following operational method sheets, blueprints, and diagrams. Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble high voltage power supplies, RF modules, and other complex medical equipment. Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and incorporate engineering change orders as needed. Collaborate with technicians to ensure assemblies are repaired and meet the correct revision levels. Maintain a clean work area and practice safety methods in accordance with OSHA, FDA, and CDC guidelines.

What's Needed?

Mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly background with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Experience with the use of millimeters, wires, and reading diagrams/blueprints. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Familiarity with SAP and/or Agile is a plus, but not required.
