This role is ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional engineering teams and has a strong background in both software development and automotive systems. ? **Key Responsibilities:** + Design, develop, and maintain software tools for vehicle testing, analysis, and reporting. + Support R&D teams with automated data reporting and custom analysis solutions. + Reprogram and modernize existing tools into scalable, enterprise-level environments. + Collaborate with global technical experts and internal engineering teams. + Lead fault evaluation and support root-cause analysis for testing systems. + Contribute to process improvements and KPI development for engineering operations. ? **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science. + Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL, MATLAB, VBA). + Strong understanding of database structures, testing procedures, debugging, and data visualization. + Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, onboard diagnostics, and communication architectures. + Experience with software development in an R&D or automotive context. ? **Preferred Qualifications:** + 3+ years of experience in software development or engineering R&D. + Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering. + Familiarity with Tableau or similar data visualization tools. ? **Top Skills & Traits:** + Excellent technical communication (written and verbal). + Problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical mindset. + Ability to thrive in complex, multicultural environments. + Strong time management, adaptability, and organizational skills.
