Signia by Hilton Orlando and the adjacent, Waldorf Astoria Orlando, 2 Official Walt Disney World® Hotels and Waldorf Astoria Orlando are searching for a Mechanic Supervisor II to join their Property Operations team! Between the 2 properties combined, there are over 1,500 rooms, 12 restaurants and lounges and over 350,000 sq. feet of meeting and event space.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience for min. 2 years in a supervisory role in Maintenance, preferably in a hotel setting, possess leadership skills and is hands-on. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone looking to elevate their hospitality career at a large complex operation.
Shift Pattern: Full flexibility with schedules, over PM shifts - 3PM-11:30PM, weekends and holidays, as needed.
Pay Rate: $24.96 per hour

What will I be doing?
A Mechanic Supervisor II is responsible for supervising, managing and executing maintenance requirements for the Property Operation team. This position may oversee the following disciplines to include Mechanical systems (HVAC, Chiller and Boiler Plant, Laundry, Kitchens, and Electrical), Physical Property Finishes (Paint, Woodwork, Furniture Refinishing, Wall Coverings, Framing, Drywall).
Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Strategic planning of workload and preventative maintenance for the Property Operations teamPerform tasks to ensure proper maintenance of the facilityVisually inspect work completed by the teamTeach and train on appropriate maintenance techniquesOversee contracting, execution and inspection of out sourced workCommunicate progress, property condition concerns and personnel issues with departmental managersConduct pre shifts with team as appropriateWhat are we looking for?
