The department includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more. **Job overview and responsibilities** · Troubleshoot, repair and complete preventative maintenance on Ground Service Equipment (both motorized and non-motorized) · Work will include diagnostic testing and repair of gas engines, transmissions, suspension and brake systems · Troubleshooting and repair of diesel engines, heavy industrial equipment, including large aircraft air conditioners, air start and ground electrical power units **This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.** **Qualifications** **What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):** + Certificate of completion from an accredited automotive school preferred + Twelve months experience required in trouble shooting, repair, and maintenance of gas and diesel engines; electrical and hydraulic systems, or motorized equipment supporting airport ground handling operations + Must pass 10-year background check + Shift Work Required + Must be flexible to work ANY shift that is assigned to you within a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation which can include late nights, early hours, weekends and holiday + Attendance is required at work location + Must be legally authorized to work in Brazil for any employer without sponsorship + Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications + Reliable, punctual attendance is essential function of the position + Will be required to read technical documents written in the English language
