MAU is hiring a Mechanic Electrician for our client, a worldwide leader in automotive and industrial solutions, in Cincinnati, OH.
As a Mechanic Electrician, you will perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on manufacturing and packaging equipment to support continuous operations. This is a direct-hire opportunity. Shift Information 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM 3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:10 AM Required Education and Experience Vocational or Technical school diploma/certificate 5+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred Education and Experience Experience in high-speed manufacturing (e.g., consumer products or food and beverage) General Requirements Working knowledge of liquid filling and metering systems Proficiency with 120v and 480v equipment Experience using Maintenance Connect Capable of walking, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and prolonged standing Ability to use applicable safety equipment Essential Functions Maintain and repair packaging equipment including fillers, cappers, labelers, case packers, date coders, and palletizers Operate and troubleshoot automated controls such as photo eyes, limit switches, pneumatic solenoids and cylinders, and Panel View parameters Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and routine adjustments Service rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, motors, drives, and conveyors; disassemble, replace worn parts, gaskets or packing, and perform alignments Utilize PLC knowledge, particularly Allen Bradley and Siemens systems Perform facility maintenance including boilers, water systems, compressed air, lighting, exhaust fans, and make-up air units Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the client Working Conditions Manufacturing plant environment Physical Demands Frequent walking, climbing, and prolonged standing Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Use of required safety equipment
