Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Mechanic to join one of our large food and beverage clients in Valhalla, NY. This person will be joining the R&D Maintenance and Operations group and be responsible for the daily maintenance of bottling equipment. This team is responsible for ultimately bottling beverages to be sent to testing facilities. Some examples of safety issues that may arise include compressed air or working with high-speed conveyors. This person should know how change pump seals and troubleshoot motor failures. Additionally, this person will check in on daily operations, help set up the plant, lubricate equipment, keep track of parts, and follow safety practices. They should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for tracking. They will repair, maintain, and troubleshoot all mechanical equipment and report any maintenance issues to management. They will evaluate work processes and make recommendations for improvement. They will communicate with all levels of seniority and should have strong communication skills. This position will be performed 100% onsite. The pay rate is between 17-20/hr, with an increase once converted permanently.
