Summary: This individual will operate the automatic wrapping machine. This individual will assist customers with special requests and answer questions about meat products and services. Perform duties that comply with local health code and follow proper safety procedures and standards. This position requires working weekends and holidays based on department staffing requirements.

Provides prompt and courteous customer service receive and fulfills all ordersWraps, weighs, labels and display all merchandise utilizing the automatic wrapping machineStocks display case and rotate merchandise as requestedAssists customers with all inquiries and requestsOperates machinery by following proper department production and safety standards, as neededInspects and reassembles equipment for use and perform routine maintenance as assignedMaintains accurate retail pricing and signageCleans and sanitizes work area, equipment and utensils in compliance with health codeSustains a high level of product knowledge and product preparationDemonstrates excellent customer service standardsReports hazard and safety violations immediatelyWorks toward continuous quality improvementEnsures accurate pricing by placing the corresponding price and ingredient labels on each packageUpholds Metcalfe’s culture, customer service, and performance expectationsUpholds, supports and promotes all company policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedQualifications: To perform this job successfully, the individual in this position must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
