Pedigree, Cesar, Nutro, Royal Canin, Iams, Whiskas, Sheba pet food and Greenies and temptations treats.

What is the Required Shift?

Monday- Friday: 7am- 3:30pm

(Flexible pending business needs)

Job Purpose:

The Meat Prep Operator is responsible for supplying frozen meat to the factory via forklift in a timely manner while following safety protocols and production needs.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirement:

High School diploma or GEDMechanical aptitude

Physical Requirements:

Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.).Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot, cold, wet, dust, dirt and chemicals.Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stoopingAbility to stand and / or work on feet for extended periodsAbility to read, write and understand English

Preferred Qualifications:

Forklift experience1+ years of manufacturing experienceComputer / IPad literateRF Scanner/Blue Yonder/JDA experience

What will be my Responsibilities?

Comply with Mars Petcare Quality and Food Safety Practices, GMPs, and other Food Safety and Regulatory Standards to ensure we manufacture a quality product.This area consists of the Haarslev, meat screws, grinders, and bunkers.Changing the grinder blades/hole plates, as necessary.Process meat based on the recipe needs using the order screen for normal production and changeovers.Operate and drive forklifts to transfer meat.Assist in system start-up and shutdown activitiesEffectively communicate with peers, lead, area coordinator, and manager.Preform CIL’s and document abnormalitiesAny ad hoc requests
