Job Summary
We are currently looking for a candidate to fill the role of MDM Specialist. This position has the responsibility of maintaining the continuity and integrity of technical data throughout the operation. Working with Engineering, Quality, and Production as a collaborator in the standardization and final generation of shop floor instructional documents.
Job Responsibilities
• Organize and maintain the technical-quality library, including blueprints, customer specs, manuals, material specs, work instructions and approval records.
• Review and verify HTCC-approved specifications against purchase orders; request missing or updated specs from stakeholders.
• Track and report raw-material conformance and annual trace-element test results.
• Draft, revise and release processes for shop-floor instructions and procedures.
• Administer version control and distribution via TeamCenter and Work Instruction Explorer (WIE).
• Ensure manuals and customer documents are current, accessible and archived per retention policies.
• Support internal and external audits (e.g., NADCAP), supplying required documentation and demonstrating procedural adherence.
• Participate in cross-functional process reviews to identify and resolve documentation gaps.
• Develop and deliver training materials on new or revised work instructions and system tools.
• Lead or contribute to special projects—such as system upgrades, template redesigns or cross-department standardization efforts.
• Adhere to applicable quality standards, company policies and procedures, customer requirements, and safety initiatives.
• Perform other job duties as needed or directed by management.
