Our location in Waukegan, IL. currently has an opportunity for a MDG Material Master Architect. This person will develop and execute IT strategies and development for Master Data Governance (MDG) globally for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This person will also understand Technical strategies and capabilities for Master Data Governance, provide advice, assistance and leadership in any area associated with the planning, procurement, provision, delivery, management, maintenance and effective business use of MDG systems, and identify, propose, initiate and lead significant improvement programs establishing requirements for the implementation of changes in processes, organizational roles and responsibilities and Master Data Management service delivery.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Identify current and emerging business needs and evaluates alternative IT solutions using standard information systems methodologies and best practices
Proactively seek out strategic business opportunities for the application of new or existing IT capabilities with IT leadership providing key opinions and comprehensive strategic analyses and insights to help discover strategic uses of IT products and services
Develop, lead, or review the creation of information systems strategy to support the strategic requirements for MDG. Contribute to development of roadmaps and business cases that sequence IT solutions working towards the achievement of the business strategies
Develop and maintain SAP MDG solutions
Ensure compliance between business strategies and technology directions
Understand the Business User Stories to decompose them into technical solution implementation
Make recommendations to process stakeholders regarding the correct approach to achieve process improvement objectives
Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts. Manage relationships between clients and IT organizations to assure effective communication between the groups is occurring.
Broker services within IT community on behalf of customers; coordinate portfolio of solutions and identify interdependencies.
Identify standardization of processes and support solutions
Support planning, controlling and monitoring, risk management, and resource management to best meet project objectives
Regularly communicate status of solutions and services
Lead and manage data integration and conversion areas of planning, co-ordination and meeting customer expectations for SAP releases
Develop and maintain Software Life Cycle (SLC) documentation and objects to support data design, development, and conversion
Prepare testing plans to confirm that requirements and system design are accurate and complete
Conduct training and provide direct subject matter expertise to business and technical resources for all areas of master data management, including data conversion processes and tools
Develop domain expertise for key master data domains (customer, supplier, material, and other critical objects) to enable direct participation in data conversion activities in support of implementation projects
Effectively communicate end-to-end impact of master data to business and technical stakeholder groups
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or another discipline relevant for the healthcare industry or equivalent experience
8-10 years of IT and ERP experience in large global company
Previous hands-on experience with SAP MDG MM is required
Strong knowledge in Material Master CRUD process
Strong working knowledge of MDG floor plan manager, BRF+ , MDG data models etc.
Strong knowledge of Material Master Data integration
Experience in setting IT or business strategy and business IT alignment
Strong project management skills
Good communication, logical thinking, decision making and problem-solving abilities
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all management levels
Strong ability to collaborate, influence and build consensus
Experience with GxP validation and/or other regulated environments
Preferred
Working knowledge of SAP data structures is required; SAP S4 experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with BPCS or other AS/400-based ERP systems is preferred
Experience in complex environments with a wide variety of interfaced applications preferred

The base pay for this position is $111,300.00 – $222,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
