Job Description:

This is a requisition for future job opportunities on the MCTSP contract.  If GDIT wins the award we expect to start the new period of performance in the Fall of 2025. There are a number of positions on the various teams so please see each listed below.

Join General Dynamics IT and seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a member of US Army National Guard Mission Training Complex (MTC) at Camp Dodge, IA.  This MTC provides training support to National Guard units in the Central states (IN, MI, OH, WV, VA, KY, TN, NC, SC). Positions include:

Exercise Planner:

Lead the JELC process for unit training and organize daily operations  Interact with the Government to perform daily operations and exercise support Understand the process of Simulation-Stimulation to achieve TUC TOs using a variety of simulation systems and models Understand the process of synchronizing Live-Virtual-Constructive training to stress TUCs at the brigade level and higher    

Basic Requirements:

BA/BS or higher  10 years supervisor experience  2 years planning experience Constructive training knowledge Secret 

Preferred Skills:

BN/BDE S-3;    

HICOM Support Team:

Perform duties as the HICOM for Brigade and above exercises Teach, coach, mentor Brigade and Division Staffs on Warfighting Functions (WFF) MCIS knowledge IAW WFF 

Basic Qualifications:

MA/MS or higher  20 years Active Duty  2 years JELC/planning experience; MCIS system per WFF BDE Staff or higher experience Large scale Live, Virtual Constructive exercise experience 

Preferred Skills:  

BN Command or higher    

Logistics Team:

Account for Government Furnished Equipment and Contractor Furnished Equipment Receive, ship and track equipment throughout the region to support training events Support facility managment Work with Training Unit Logisticians during training events to improve their knowledge and performance 

Basic Qualifications:

AA/AS   Secret  Logistics and Facility Management BN S-4 or higher experience 

Cyber Security/RMF/ISSO Team:

Ensure the Cybersecurity risk management process is in place and the appropriate operational security posture is maintained and documented to protect and defend the capabilities and assets of the ARNG MTC Type Training Enclaves, Information Systems, fielded Program Managed Systems, and Training and Exercise Networks implements required RMF products, such as Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)Performs continuous monitoring of applied STIGs and patches; conducts periodic auditing to assess vulnerabilities of networks and systems  

Basic Qualifications:

BA/BS Meet minimum DoD 8140 DCWF requirements  5+ years of experience in DoD Cybersecurity operations Expert understanding of NIST, DoD, & Army Cybersecurity & Risk Management Framework processes, policies, directives, instructions, manuals, and best business practices Thorough working knowledge of Training Support System Enterprise (TSS-E), NSC, PEO-STRI, and Army Capabilities Manager-Constructive (ACM-C) Secret  

Preferred Skills: 

Three years’ experience working in MTCs  five years’ experience in assessing and mitigating risk for networks and systems utilized in LVC and integrated training environments that include simulations that stimulate Army C2 Systems and MCIS 

Network Team:

Establish and maintain training and exercise networks for both local area and wide area networks (LAN and WAN) Configure training areas (classrooms, reconfigurable tactical operation centers, exercise areas, work cells) networks. Operate both the local and wide area networks  Ensure the simulations and training networks are operational 98% of the  time during training and exercises (98% of the time excludes scheduled downtimes, system and software upgrades, and network problems caused by elements outside line of demarcation) 

Basic Qualifications:

BA/BS or Experience Equivalent 5+ years of experience in networking administration and engineeringExpert understanding of LAN/WAN/Open Loop/Closed Loop Thorough working knowledge of networking across military operated networks   3+ years of experience working in MTCs  5+ years of experience in assessing and mitigating risk for networks and systems utilized in LVC and integrated training environments that include simulations that stimulate Army C2 Systems and MCIS Secret clearance

Simulations Team:

Ensure each MTC can conduct one large (multi-echelon) and one medium scale (single echelon) JLCCTC supported exercise simultaneously  Install, operate, integrate, troubleshoot communications, application, configurations, establish network addresses and connections, monitor and analyze system performance, recommend and perform application maintenance,  conduct data backups, system recovery, install information assurance vulnerability alert (IAVA) patches, security updates, responding to critical vulnerabilities, and conducting remediation before, during, and after training exercises using the JLCCTC suite and a friend of the federation.This support is provided at the MTC or at the TUC point of need Build databases for Blue and Red units; terrain  

Basic Qualifications:

BA/BS 8+ years of experience with Military training and training support experience in technical support and training requirements at Brigade or higher level Three years’ experience working in MTCs  five years’ experience in assessing and mitigating risk for networks and systems utilized in LVC and integrated training environments that include simulations that stimulate Army C2 Systems and MCIS Security+Secret clearance

Mission Command Information Systems Team:

conduct both formal information system operator training and informal over- the-shoulder MCIS training during collective training events  

Basic Qualifications:

BA/BS 2+ years of MCIS teaching experience; has served as assistant instructor for the same courseware; has completed a course of study and subsequently completed experience  4+ years of service in support to the Army or other defense service CPCE, DCGS-A, AFATDS, TAIS, JBC-P Secret  

Preferred Skills:

3+ years of experience working in MTCs  5+ years of experience in assessing and mitigating risk for networks and systems utilized in LVC and integrated training environments that include simulations that stimulate Army C2 Systems and MCIS

The likely salary range for this position is $94,676 - $128,092. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
