**Job Description:**
Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as the **PTA #1** to the **US Army National Guard Headquarters at Arlington, VA** . This position works directly with the MCTSP PM to provide expertise in MISSION command training strategy and simulation systems required to support training.
This position is located at NGB HQ Arlington, VA.
Our work depends on to ensure exercise support requirements are identified, synchronized, resourced, and rehearsed to meet Training Unit Commander (TUC) Training Objectives (TO); joining our team which already supports 16 Active Duty US Army MTCs.
**HOW THE PTA #1** **WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:**
+ Provide analysis on the Army Combined Arms Training Strategy (or most recently HQDA Approved Training Strategy) requirements as they pertain to readiness, and the broad spectrum of Army information systems required to train MISSION command
+ Provide support to ARNG MCTSP projects through planning, preparing, executing, and providing recommendations to assist in conduct of strategic decision making
+ Provide doctrinal and technical advisory assistance, briefing support, and assistance with program initiatives to include special reports, meetings, white papers, and other program initiatives
**WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:**
+ **BA/BS or higher**
+ Minimum of six (6) years of **combined Army staff experience** with extensive plans, programs and policies at the strategic level
+ Possess a thorough understanding of mission command training at the battalion, brigade, and/or division levels of the Army
+ **School Certified FA 57**
+ **Secret clearance**
+ Joint service staff experience

The likely salary range for this position is $138,072 - $186,804. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
