Technology management is an integral weapon in the fight against a disease outbreak. It securely tracks patients infected with or exposed to dire communicable diseases such as Novel Coronavirus, Ebola, Zika, measles, tuberculosis, HIV/STDs, and influenza. No interaction is too small when tracing infection exposures—every handshake matters.
\nAbout the Role:
\nAs a Maven Core Developer Engineer, you will diagnose and develop fixes for defects, improvements, and new features for the core Maven software product. Also, you will provide support for patch fixes for migrations and implementation projects and perform code reviews for other Core Developers.
\n\n
The Maven Core Developer Engineer must primarily possess strong problem-solving ability alone and in working with others. They must also possess strong communication skills for effectively working with associates and Clients as needed.
\n\n
Responsibilities:
\n\n Work closely with other Support Developers, Maven Core Developers, and Quality Assurance Testing Engineers. \n Effectively utilize the Jira issue tracking system for tracking of all support issues, within the defined client-specific Service Level Agreement (SLA). \n After-hours phone support coverage may be required based on business needs. \n Following Conduent policy on entering time spent on projects and tasks. \n Traveling to client or company sites as required. \n\n\n
The Maven Core Developer’s primary responsibilities include providing solutions for the core Maven product related to:
\n\n\n Defects \n Improvements \n Features \n Migrations \n Implementations \n Software Security Scans \n Code Reviews \n\n

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
\n\n
The specific technical skills required are:
\n\n JAVA/J2EE \n SQL and Relational Databases (e.g. Oracle, MSQL, PostgreSQL) \n Javascript and related technologies (e.g. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax) \n XML \n\n\n
Also, working knowledge of the following will be helpful:
\n\n App Servers (e.g. Tomcat, Websphere, AWS, Azure) \n Development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall) \n\n\n\n Bachelor of Science in Software Development and 4+ years of experience in Java Software Development or equivalent work experience. \n Knowledge of enterprise software required, with knowledge of public health industry a plus. \n Strong analytical, conceptual, and technical problem-solving abilities. \n Ability to deliver outstanding customer service, including excellent listening and empathy skills. \n Ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and navigating competing priorities. \n Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. \n Capacity to remain calm, composed, and articulate when dealing with challenging situations. \n Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams and organizations. \n Self-motivated high achiever who can learn in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment with limited direct supervision. \n Candidates must be self-motivated and deal effectively in a fast-paced environment. \n\n

\nJob performance will be measured by continual client satisfaction, meeting contractual obligations and SLAs, and the completion of project and tasks related to assigned deliverables. This position reports to the Maven Support Manager.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $80,080 - $104,000
