Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Master's Degree preferred. 10 years progressively responsible supply chain management positions to include at least 4 years' experience managing professional level employees. APICS certificate (Association for supply chain and operations management) preferred. Other NAPM certificate preferred.
Position Purpose:
Directs the materials function in assigned area of responsibility. Develops and administers all policies, procedures, and material operations. Responsibilities may include procurement, material planning, part sales, component repair and overhaul, parts manufacturing authority process, inventory control, logistics, import/export compliance, and materials management of all goods and services to support goals and objectives. Strives to integrate materials business objectives with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Finance to achieve optimum ROI and cash flow for the business. Develop the annual strategic operating plan and goals, ensuring linkage to executive operating priorities. Communicates the strategic plans of the organization, defines the objectives, measure progress and monitors performance status. Accountable for maintaining the engagement of the team by establishing an environment of collaboration between team members and across the business, creating a culture of development where all employees are supported in seeking growth opportunities, and guiding team to high quality performance.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
+ Optimize inventory levels to ensure efficient operations whilst maximizing corporate ROIC .
+ Develop budgets and strategies in support of corporate goals and objectives that are flexible based on demand .
+ Develop strategic relationships with key customers and suppliers, aligning strategies, goals and objectives .
+ Create an environment of continuous improvement and implementation of best practices .
+ Coordinate with GAC distribution centers, service centers, and other network partners to set/manage stocking levels, provide inventory appropriate to local/regional demand, and monitor to ensure both physical asset and data integrity .
+ Responsible to ensure accurate and meaningful communication flow between leadership and team to ensure alignment .
+ Establish and cascade goals to ensure alignment with organizational goals .
Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
+ An understanding of TQM, MPS, MRP, Lean Manufacturing, TOC, Six-Sigma, and JIT strategies.
