Position SummaryTracks and coordinates the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials. Orders supplies and maintains suitable inventory levels. Reviews orders, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
Perform effective, efficient and timely material movements (electronically & Phyically) to support shipping/receiving/ Production operations.
• Champion a safety driven culture. Ensure compliance with all safety and environment regulations.
• Lead safety initiatives.
• Utilize 5S and lean methodologies to maintain a safe, clean and organized workplace. Perform 5S audits to ensure that best practices are maintained.
• Identify and support continuous improvement efforts within the warehouse/materials group.
• Identify quality issues related to materials/labeling/shipping/storage.
• Comply with cGMP and adhere to documented procedures as defined in Teleflex Quality Systems Procedures
• Work closely with internal logistics and external logistics teams.
• Maintain and review materials and shipping records to verify they are complete and accurate.
• Maintains accurate trace-ability records/documentation completed during the shipping/receiving process
• Maintain and reorder established quantities for lab and production areas. Accurately execute transactions in SAP to ensure inventory levels are correctly depicted.
• Develop standard work for the warehouse’s daily activities.
• Monitors inventory shelf life and follows first-in-first-out (FIFO) principles
• Trains other department members as necessary
• Safely operates all material handling equipment
• Ensure warehouse related equipment is maintained within defined timelines. Coordinate with internal and external technicians.
• Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures and take timely corrective action, as necessary.
• Review department timecards and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Review applicable change orders (CO’s) to related processes as assigned.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Completed High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years materials/warehouse experience is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of people leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to receive and execute work instruction, read. write and comprehend documents written in English
• Use of basic math and good oral and written communication skills required
• Highly organized
• Ability to work independently with limited direction supervision
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP and tracking/material processing required
