Materials Supply Planner
**Job Description Summary** Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials for production needs (from suppliers and within departments) according to a Pull Consumption Logic, Schedule Smoothing, and level loading input through the Supply Chain. This role is designed to accelerate Lean improvements across production operations including forecasting, planning, scheduling, and sourcing while balancing manufacturing load, optimizing inventory, and improving on time delivery to our customers. The role is highly cross functional and will have high visibility amongst multiple organizations. This role is open to remote consideration. **Job Description** **Roles and Responsibilities** + Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs using a Pull methodology and level loading schedule inputs to optimize inventory, schedule stability and process improvements. + Quickly develop and launch level loading and pull pilots with the ability to iterate for improvement from learnings and scaling into future state design. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy and creating those standard works. + Daily manage the breakthroughs, keeping tasks on track, and driving proactive countermeasures to sustain scalability + Help develop the roadmap and playbook for defining the pull demand planning profile and level loading with the ability to scale across different commodity value streams and internal component shops + Help develop the strategy for an organizational structure that supports Pull and schedule level loading. + Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve complex issues when they arise. **Required Qualifications** Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years materials, planning, sourcing or related supply chain experience) + minimum of 3 years materials, planning, sourcing or related supply chain experience **Desired Characteristics** + Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills. + Materials experience and demonstrated capability in reducing inventory and improving OTD. + Highly collaborative person, comfortable with conflict and debate normally associated with change. + Proven ability to work horizontally across GE and build/maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. The salary range for this position is $98,300.00 - 131,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan. This posting is expected to close on August 26, 2025.
