Job Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS

Post-secondary education or equivalent related to Materials Management & Supply ChainExcellent planning, interpersonal/leadership, team building, and organizational skillsHighly adaptable, motivated, analytical/data driven, detail-oriented, and able to work autonomouslyOpen-minded and decisive problem solving skillsExcellent communication skills (English both written and verbal)Ability and desire to problem solve, multi task with cross functional team, & prioritizeAbility to build relationships and work collaboratively and independentlyAbility to work professionally under pressure5 years inventory management experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment with successful inventory reduction & cycle count program3 years Warehouse Management System experience (preferably Solidat)Fully understands the working relationship between Inventory Control and MRPExtensive Supply Chain Experience (raw material, purchase component, outside processor suppliers)Strong Lean Manufacturing and process improvement experienceExperience with ERP systems preferably Trans4M/CMICommitted to continuous improvement and learningProficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Capable of working with minimal supervisionAbility to interact effectively with all levels of the organizationAbility to respond to dynamic and changing environmentSupport business requirements evenings and weekends, when requiredUnderstanding of basic accounting principlesValid G driver’s license

APICS CSCP –Certified Supply Chain Professional or equivalentAutomotive background (preferably Magna)Value stream mapping experience6 Sigma Black/Green beltExperience maintaining ERP bill of materials (BOMs) and product routingsCanada & USA Customs experienceKnowledge of ISO-14001 and TS/IATF-16949 quality systemsForklift/reach truck certificationAZ driver’s licenseAutomotive manufacturing experience

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Work collaboratively with entire Mytox team to ensure we meet company goalsDeveloping, implementing, and managing proper procedures and processes to ensure high inventory accuracy (at part number/location detail and financial basis) for raw material, purchased components, WIP, and finished goods inventory in multi-site facilitiesImplementing necessary strategies to meet and maintain department goalsImplement and refine effective Solidat Warehouse Management SystemEnsure effective JIT inventory mix sustained at each appropriate locationResponsible for Material Analyst hiring, training, and overall performanceCommitting to the leadership and development of team members while fostering a positive, collaborative work culturePromoting and communicating lean management techniquesAttend Mytox APQP meeting, and provide timely information for program successMonitoring daily department outcomes (achieve inventory turns, 100% customer delivery performance, prevent material related downtime and expedited freight)Reporting on Key Performance Indicators in relation to department goalsEnsuring overall safety, quality, and effective performance of Inventory Control and PlanningCommunicating effectively with suppliers (written and verbal) and purchasing team on a daily basis to achieve organizational objectivesTake leading role in implementing flawless customer product launch and effective engineering changesExperience reconciling company inventory at outside processor facilities (remotely and on-site)Conduct inventory cycle counts/physical inventory and/or BOM audits on site and at suppliersEnsure inventory corrective actions are effective to ensure no repeat issues and read-across method is utilizedEnsure supplier release issues are resolved effectivelyMaintain action plan to reduce slow moving inventoryEnsure proper FIFO rotation of inventoryProvide ongoing timely supplier performance feedback
