Materials Supervisor 2nd Shift

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Coordinate training activities on the use of company-provided resources so that employees efficiently perform their duties, developing employee competencies, skills, and abilities through a training program resulting from an effective training needs assessment.
 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
● Bachelor's degree, Administration, Industrial Relations, or related degree.
● Minimum 3 years of experience in the position in the Maquiladora Industry.
 

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CERTIFICATIONS
● Knowledge: in general terms, staff retention and turnover strategies.
● STPS requirements related to general working conditions, IMSS, NOM-035, PAYROLLS, and advanced MS Office skills.
● Trainer knowledge or certifications.

 MAIN AREAS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Training and instruction on operational processes, strategies, and controls for all department operators.
● Ensure control and maintenance of mobile equipment driver licenses.
● Create training plans and strategies, budgets, and alignments with operational and legal needs.
● Employee recognition processes.
● Follow-up on plant labor cases, application of the RIT.
● Preparation of reports, management of turnover, absenteeism, EH&S-related activities, and training.
● Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for their role in relation to ISO9001:2015.
● Comply with safety rules determined according to their role.
● Comply with planned training related to Quality and Training.
● Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
