Weighs all packages and freight rates are determined either automatically or from a chart. Initiates billing. Loads and unloads trucks as required. Incumbent will be held to established quality standards. Incumbent will have moderate control to make adjustments to the process after tasks are assigned. May have access to confidential information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Counts and packages parts to customers specifications, working from shipping orders and produces labels with customers purchase orders and part numbers. Receives, counts and locates parts in correct bin location; disburses, counts and assigns to appropriate work orders; weighs and counts parts for correct inventory accounting. Makes record keeping transactions to update MRP system and moves stock around facility Performs cycle count activities to assure inventory accuracy; makes shelf to shelf transactions; marks open bin locations for received work orders. Scraps inventory according to company standards Moves completed production whenever signed and stamped off. Participate in weekly production meetings and is accountable for making the daily shipment goals. Informs management of daily shipments. Manage receiving for all departments in Plant 2. Plans all material handling through several outside processes and keeps records and accountability as material moves and gets issued into and out of inventory. Manage the contractors entering Plant 2 at shipping and receiving and contact the SPA for work being performed. Ensure all contractors are signed in and have proper PPE. Uses AES to manage all international shipments for Plant 2. Manages min/max for all shipping supplies for Mairoll. Manage tooling distribution from Plant 1 to Plant 2. Keeps work area clean, safe and in an orderly fashion on a daily basis. Performs other tasks of equal or lesser skill as required.
