Materials Specialist

**Job Overview:**
The Materials Specialist is responsible for supporting materials management activities in the system at site, populating the system with the current materials movement information on time, providing inventory control, support to production planning team preparing construction work packages in the system based on engineering information, performing forecasts runs, reservations, address risks of shortages within SCM and provide KPIs to PMT.
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities:**
+ Receiving
+ Reporting of Over, Short and Damages (OS&Ds)
+ Organization and Maintenance of Warehouse, Stores & Laydown Yard for storage of materials for system setup
+ Inventory Control
+ Issuing of materials
+ Update system on time
+ Create CWPs, Forecasts , KPIs
+ Coordination with Logistics and/or Expediting to plan receiving activities and mitigation of potential shortages per date.
+ Reporting to project management for all applicable activities
+ Coordination with Engineering and Fabrication personnel in order to stablish CWP priorities in the system.

**Essential Qualifications and Education:**
+ Experience or knowledge of project management and supply chain, preferable on the EPC projects related to Oil & Gas industry.
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred
+ Experience in SCM or materials management
+ Strong database background (Excel, Access, etc.) preferred
+ Smart Materials (SMat) SITE module experience preferred
