**Job Overview**
Job description
• Management of the Materials Requirements Planning process environment.
• Manages the effective utilization of the SAP functionality to maintain and keep material inventory at optimum levels. Analyzes and manages inventory levels in relation to customer requirements to meet inventory targets and goals.
• Control, measure, project and regulate efficient inventory levels of purchased materials in support of operations. Partners with warehouse operations (Glog) and internal functional teams to drive inventory reduction through better use of the ERP system and delivery methods.
• Delivery Scorecard achievement: Ship to Request and Ship to Schedule performance maintenance, root cause analysis , provide action plan, short/long term improvement plan to meet STR target.
• Keep reducing Past due status (Past due to request and Past due to schedule). Identify and drive key actions to ensure stable supply and keep past due at a minimum level.
• Fcst review & closely connection with plant planning for guideline of the capacity leverage. Support each other for whole supply chain, identifying improvement opportunities to drive for better satisfaction to Customers and better KPI
• Cooperate with Customer care for customer demand
• Supports cost reduction projects and improvement initiatives to achieve overall business objectives, e.g. Freight saving project.
• Maintains materials planning parameters in (ERP) to ensure accurate system message generation.
• Drives resolution to materials issues which includes working with the Purchasing, QA, QC and Production personnel to avoid material shortages, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate the replenishment to the appropriate inventory levels.
• Billing attainment - Ensure sufficient supply of inventory and achieve optimum billing performance for the BU.
• Be involved in all processes and interact with the systems and colleagues in compliance with company’s regulations, internal policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.
Key metrics will include:
• Delivery performance (on time to request, on time to schedule)
• Inventory
• Past due to request backlogs
• LT reduction
• Support freight saving
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills, capabilities, and knowledge:
• Experience utilizing ERP for planning and scheduling within a trading / manufacturing environment – minimum 3 years previous experience;
• SAP proficiency (production planning, purchasing)
• Highly organized, have a strong sense of urgency, ability to multi-task with exceptional attention to details;
• Strong communication skills - written and spoken, to effectively interact with all levels of the organization;
• Ability to present information to cross functional teams;
• Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office Applications.
• Good spoken and written English
• Plant planning experiences preferred
