Job Description
We are seeking a Materials Supervisor to join one of our automotive clients and eventually transition into a leadership role overseeing the entire materials department.
This is a hands-on position, leading a team of 7 materials analysts and planners, driving inventory accuracy, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with the production, engineering, and purchasing teams.
Strong leadership, and a passion for continuous improvement, especially as the business implements a new ERP and MES system. This role is critical to ensuring efficient material flow, supporting customer service, and contributing to strategic supply chain initiatives.

Skills and Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisory/management role within materials or supply chain
- 5 years Master Scheduling experience, including shipping and receiving
- 5 years strong inventory management background, including cycle counting and inventory adjustments
- Deep understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures
- High proficiency with MRP systems
- Experience with process improvement and CI projects Automotive or manufacturing industry experience
Experience with SAP and/or an ERP implementation
Familiarity with MES systems
APICS CSCP certification or equivalent
Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or value stream mapping experience null
